1. Definition of AIS™
The AIS™ (Avatar Identity Standard™) Protection Program is a proprietary verification and governance framework developed and administered by Strut Media Inc. (“Strut”). AIS™ establishes documented procedures for identity verification, consent recording, source media validation, and internal compliance review related to DigitalTwin™ avatar creation and deployment.
AIS™ certification signifies that Strut has completed its internal AIS™ process at the time of certification.
AIS™ is not a governmental, regulatory, or third-party accreditation.
2. Scope of Certification AIS™ certification confirms that, at the time of issuance:
- Identity verification procedures were completed
- Consent was recorded and archived
- Source media was reviewed and approved
- Internal compliance review standards were satisfied
AIS™ certification applies solely to the specific avatar instance and source materials reviewed at the time of certification.
Any material modification to voice, likeness, source media, or deployment use may require re-certification.
3. No Guarantee of Fraud Prevention
AIS™ certification does not:
- Guarantee prevention of impersonation, deepfake replication, or third-party misuse
- Prevent unauthorized copying, redistribution, or modification by external actors
- Provide cybersecurity protection or monitoring services
- Constitute legal enforcement or fraud detection services
AIS™ is a documentation and governance framework, not an insurance product, security system, or legal guarantee.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees that:
- They are the lawful owner or authorized rights holder of submitted voice and likeness materials
- All representations made during identity verification are accurate
- They will notify Strut promptly of any suspected misuse or impersonation
- They are responsible for monitoring external platforms for unauthorized use
Strut is not responsible for third-party misuse occurring outside Strut-controlled platforms or deployments.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Strut’s liability related to AIS™ certification shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for AIS™ services.
Under no circumstances shall Strut be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Reputational harm caused by third-party misuse
- Lost profits or business interruption
- Unauthorized reproduction or deepfake activity conducted by external parties
AIS™ certification reflects process completion — not outcome guarantees.
6. Documentation & Records
Strut may maintain internal records including:
- Consent recordings
- Source media timestamps
- Identity verification logs
- Certification issuance records
Such documentation may assist the Client in addressing impersonation or misuse but does not constitute legal representation or enforcement.
7. Suspension or Revocation Strut reserves the right to suspend or revoke AIS™ certification if:
- False information was provided during verification
- Unauthorized modifications compromise compliance
- The avatar is used in unlawful or unethical ways
Revocation does not create liability for Strut.
8. Renewal & Maintenance
AIS™ certification may require renewal in cases including but not limited to:
- Significant updates to source media
- Voice model replacement
- Expanded deployment scope
- Governance upgrades Failure to renew may result in expiration of certification status.
9. Intellectual Property
AIS™, Avatar Identity Standard™, and the AIS™ Mark are proprietary marks of Strut Media Inc. Unauthorized use of the AIS™ mark is prohibited.
Certification grants a limited, non-transferable license to display the AIS™ Mark solely in connection with the certified avatar.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
AIS™ certification verifies documented origin and consent; it does not insure against, guarantee prevention of, or assume liability for third-party misuse.
